Project Based Consulting Solutions for Business Growth

Piccerelli Solutions offers financial and operational consulting services to for-profit and not-for-profit businesses in need of senior leadership without the cost of hiring a full-time professional for the C-suite.

Cost-Effective Leadership Solutions

Hiring a full-time Chief Operating Officer (COO) or Chief Financial Officer (CFO) can be costly. We offer the same level of expertise at a fraction of the cost, providing an affordable, scalable, and flexible alternative for financial and operational leadership. Whether your business or startup requires financial expertise on a project basis or part-time, our services adapt to your needs.

Strategic business growth often depends on sound financial leadership. Boards and stakeholders rely on management to define and execute strategic direction—supported by budgets, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning. Additionally, management must provide progress reports that align with strategic objectives, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Your company's expansion may require raising capital, securing loans, or managing investor, board, and stakeholder relations. Financial transparency and optimized reporting systems are critical to improving decision-making, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency. If mergers and acquisitions (M&A) are part of your growth strategy, expert financial guidance is essential for seamless transactions.

In times of crisis, businesses need strong financial leadership to implement turnaround strategies, cost-cutting measures, restructuring plans, and revenue growth initiatives. We also provide interim leadership solutions to maintain business continuity during transitions, minimizing disruption and ensuring stability.

No matter your company’s financial or operational needs, we deliver strategic expertise to drive growth, stability, and long-term success.

How We Assist You

Many for-profit and not-for-profits businesses need that team to get them to the next level but do not necessarily have the resources to make a full-time hire.

We will work for you on an hourly, project-based, or retainer model, depending on the company’s needs. Your company may need a few hours per week, we might step in for a larger, time-sensitive project.

David served as president of Rhode Island PBS (RIPBS), the state’s only public television station. His leadership at RIPBS began in 1998 when he joined as vice president and chief financial officer. Over the years, he played a pivotal role in advancing the station’s mission, including overseeing its complex, multi-million-dollar transition from analog to digital broadcasting in 2009.

In late 2012, David secured Federal Communications Commission approval to transfer the station’s license and operations from state ownership to the independent nonprofit Rhode Island PBS Foundation. This strategic move transformed RIPBS into a community licensee, ending state funding while creating new opportunities for growth. Under his leadership, the station expanded its impact as a vital educational resource for the community.
